Do you want to conveniently display individual passenger information, advertising and infotainment on any number of monitor systems in buses and rail vehicles as well as at stops?
With our solution BUSWAM, a Content Management System (CMS), you always have full control over your passenger information systems. You benefit from intuitive control and many different setting options.
Central information transmission to your vehicles and stops
Our BUSWAM solution is a web-based application with multi-user capability, so that any number of employees can use and manage the system from any location. In order to guarantee more security for your processes, we offer you an effective rights and group administration. For example, you can designate roles for administrators (with all functions) and simple users who can only manage content. BUSWAM also allows any number of passenger information systems to be supplied with data centrally. The only limit is the computing power of your server.
Timetables and geodata
BUSWAM offers you numerous useful and convenient features. These include timetables and loops, which you can preconfigure directly in the Content Management System. Here, you set concrete criteria that define when which content is displayed on the screens in your vehicles.
This is done, for example, on the basis of times or even geodata. The latter also enable the integration of tourist content. For example, you can display information on places of interest at exactly the right position in the route.
Data transmission in seconds
Delays, cancelled lines and other important information are of course something you want to communicate to your passengers as quickly as possible. BUSWAM allows you to transmit data to your information systems in real time, with high priority operational content. This enables you, for example, to transmit fault messages preferentially.
In order to also limit the amount of data packets to be transmitted, a monitor in your vehicles takes on the role of a master. This screen takes your information and sends it to the slave monitors. This makes data transmission particularly fast and efficient. And what’s more, this content is displayed synchronously in time.
Interfaces, modular structure and BUDIS
BUSWAM is designed for passenger information systems from our company. However, external content can also be read in via interfaces and transmitted to the monitors. This is made possible by the modular structure of our solutions. Most users use BUSWAM as a CMS in combination with our BUDIS solution. BUDIS is the part of the software that initially runs the basic configuration and administrator functions in the background.
In addition, BUDIS handles the communication with the connected monitors. Users can therefore also use BUDIS as a stand-alone solution with an external CMS instead of BUSWAM and, for example, have timetable data displayed on the desired monitors via an interface. Press information or advertising content from external agencies (third party users) can also be integrated.
System maintenance made easy – Intuitive operation
As a CMS, BUSWAM is characterized by its intuitive operation. In order to enable our customers to quickly familiarize themselves with the system, we deliver it with comprehensive operating instructions.
In addition, we offer training courses should customers wish to gain a deeper insight into the functional scope of BUSWAM. The solution also allows multilingual use, which further optimizes ease of use.
