VISION on-board computer – BT937
The Vision BT937 on-board computer for buses and trams is the all-rounder among the control units for public transport. The on-board computer BT937 is based on the control unit BT900, but is much more complex and has a wider range of functions. With this on-board computer for passenger information systems, the bus and train driver can operate all peripheral devices simultaneously with one device. Many individual components to operate all passenger information systems are no longer necessary: the bustec on-board computer BT937 unifies all functions on the vehicle.
Operation of the BT937 on-board computer
The operation of the on-board computer for buses and trains is simple and intuitive. A touch display, which we all know from smartphones and tablets, quickly guides the driver through the desired menus and functions. Due to the coloured design of the user interface and the adjustable brightness and contrast, the drivers can quickly see at which menu position the desired input field is located and at the same time it is easy on the eyes.

The on-board computer in detail
bustec on-board computers form the central switching point for data communication on the vehicle. In interaction with peripheral devices (such as the display systems, validators, announcement technology, busy level detection systems and data communication), a central on-board computer from bustec monitors, supervises and controls all actions on the data bus. There is no additional device or element of the passenger information systems with which the BT937 on-board computer cannot communicate. This on-board computer for buses and trains can easily control both LED exterior displays and LED interior displays. In addition, our all-in-one solution also controls ticket printers for printing tickets, counting systems and announcement devices for passenger information. It is particularly important to emphasize that the on-board computer BT937 can also serve third-party products completely with the most diverse data. This on-board computer is also popular because it makes it possible to communicate directly with the dispatch center.
The new bustec on-board computer BT937 offers high performance in daily use. It owes this to its future-oriented functionality, which is characterized by Renesas SH-4 processor technology, 32 MB data memory, a large LCD display and optional interfaces, such as GPS, GSM/GPRS and WLAN, in combination with the Windows CE 6.0 operating system.
