However, a good and comprehensive service in information technology includes not only the displays and control units inside the buses and trains, but also the stationary displays at stops. This is the only way to inform your passengers about current information, delays, general timetable data or connection recommendations around the clock and to ensure maximum comfort during the journey in buses and trains.
Stationary LED display systems from bustec are extremely durable and maintenance-free. By using brightness sensors and energy-saving ultra-high brightness LEDs, the stationary LED display line PREVIEW is characterized in every situation by the lowest power consumption (operating costs) and automatically ensures optimally legible information in every lighting phase, even at a greater distance. In this way, the current timetable for buses and trains – thanks to real-time information on our display board for stops – reaches passengers at all times. With the LED display systems for bus stops from bustec, you ensure that your passengers are correctly informed in advance and choose the optimal means of transport or the right line to reach their destination quickly and comfortably.
Possible applications for stationary information systems
With our displays for bus stops we focus on durability and stability under any conditions. Our bustec interior displays, which are installed in buses and trains, are largely protected from the weather and large temperature fluctuations. However, the situation is different with our devices for outdoor use. Tougher conditions must be considered here for outdoor displays and information displays at bus stops, some of which are roofed over and some of which are mounted unprotected on the roads. The robust and slim (80 mm) standard housings are designed for all weather conditions and applications. The innovative “slide-slot” housings are made of stainless steel and are protected against splash water by 4 mm anti-reflective single-pane safety glass in the display area.
In addition, we offer perfect legibility under all conditions thanks to our trend-setting LED technology. In case of limited visibility due to bad weather or extreme brightness, the writing always remains recognizable. The single or double-sided LED display systems are available with 5.0 or 7.5 mm pitch. The modular design allows resolutions from 32-64px height, with up to 256px width. The display systems are trend-setting due to their “scroll and scrolling text capability”, more flexible than cable-connected or radio network controlled variants and can be operated license-free and free of charge in the periphery.
Features of the display boards for stops
Stationary bustec LED display systems are available in different grid spacings (5 and 7.5 mm) and different resolutions in modular design for comprehensive passenger information. Individual enclosure adaptations can thus be implemented largely cost-neutrally.
Various standard interfaces, such as IBIS, RS485 and Ethernet, are available.
The display systems are controlled by cable or via cost- and licence-free radio network control. If the required range is extended, cost-effective repeaters are set. This means that the info displays are always easy to operate without the need for time-consuming maintenance.
