Compact in design as a 19″ built-in device or as a “stand-alone” variant, announcement devices from bustec can be integrated for any application in the context of passenger information in the vehicle. Our announcement systems for bus and train are extremely reliable. In addition, our announcement technology for stop announcements is characterised by the uncomplicated transfer and processing of various data formats via USB/Ethernet interface. The extra information provided by voice announcements is particularly appreciated by visually impaired passengers.
Features of the bustec BT800 announcement systems
The acoustic devices are optimally equipped with 32-64mB flash memory. Good in “handling” and simple in equipping the vehicles, they are also uncomplicated and maintenance-free in use. The intuitive operation makes the devices a real relief for the bus driver. The announcement devices are controlled via the on-board computer or a control unit. Our BT800 model, which was optimally developed for train and bus announcements, is also capable of functioning as an “MCU central unit”. This means that the driver can also supply TFT or LCD info displays in the best HD resolution via DVI. The complete package for passenger information.

Various interfaces, such as IBIS, RS485 and Ethernet (10/1000 Mbit), are available for control or data update. Optionally, bustec announcement technology is also available with other interfaces.
